Founded by Candice Gersun, Press Release Send Out was created to simplify PR and make it more affordable and accessible after years of experience working with global brands including Disney, Appletiser, Procter & Gamble, Activision, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Rockstar Games, and major film titles such as James Bond, Spider-Man, Shrek, Bolt and more.
Candice grew up in South Africa before moving to the UK, where she lived for three years. Missing the sunshine, she eventually relocated to Australia, where she began working as a consultant.
In 2013, Candice launched her first PR agency, specialising in startups and challenger brands. She became frustrated with the traditional agency model, where senior executives would win new business only for clients to be handed over to junior staff, often resulting in disappointing outcomes.
Today, Candice works as a communications advisor and consultant, partnering with businesses of all sizes, agencies, and C-suite leadership teams to provide strategic advice across visibility, brand awareness, marketing communications, and PR. She is known for her strong media relationships, strategic thinking, and hands-on approach.
Candice has also delivered talks, lectured, and judged business awards, sharing her expertise across PR, communications, branding, and business growth.

A lifelong learner, Candice is currently completing two Mini MBAs in Marketing and Management, further strengthening her expertise across business strategy, communications, and leadership.
Based in Sydney, Candice balances her work with a love of weight training, Pilates, sunshine, great coffee, exceptional food, reading, travel, and appreciating the beauty of the world. Outside of work, she juggles life with her five daughters, aged 16 to 7, along with the family dog and cat.
Candice has had the pleasure of working with brands big and small.
She is a regular judge, speaker, lecturer and student.
